Safe shooting goes hand in hand with delivering a precise shot. By knowing the distance to the target, this knowledge can be used with certainty. NOBLEX E-Optics, from Eisfeld in Thuringia, Germany, introduces the new Noblex NF 10×42 R, a compact, high-performance binocular with an integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 2,300 meters. Noblex NF 10×42 from our advanced production line offers users high performance optics with multi-coated lens elements and a large field of view. The integrated laser rangefinder determines the safe shooting distance to the target of up to 1,200 meters.

The range of a large and reflective object has even been extended to 2300 metres. With a simple push of a button, the eye-safe class 1 laser measurement is accurate down to one meter in just 0.3 seconds. The measured value is displayed using a red OLE display, which is mirrored in the center of the field of view and can also be read clearly against a dark background. If desired, the brightness can be adjusted in six steps. In difficult terrain or with moving objects, the measurement can be continuous, which gives the user an uninterrupted reading. Thanks to the different measurement modes, a sophisticated algorithm can also determine the distance even in unfavorable weather conditions such as light fog or even rain. In addition, the software can also determine the distance to the nearest point, e.g. in the case of objects with varying distances. The NOBLEX engineers have paid particular attention to very simple handling, which can be achieved with just two control buttons.

Angle measurement has also been included for hunting in the mountains. In contrast to conventional, direct distance measurement, ballistic deviation has been taken into account with the Noblex NF 10×42 R. The angle compensation is displayed in meters, right within the field of view and right at the firing angle. With the sharp image with high contrast from the center to the outer edges of the image, even the smallest details are detected.
