Vanward QD55 - The Ultimate Suppressor for Professional Shooters
After extensive testing and dedicated development, we are proud to present the QD55, the newest and most advanced damper from Vanward!
The QD55 was designed with sharpshooters and long-range shooters in mind to integrate with a recoil brake. It is designed to allow for combined shooting with a brake and silencer, in many cases without changing the point of impact.
The locking mechanism between the damper and recoil brake is a proprietary bayonet coupling that ensures lightning-fast and precise assembly, ensuring that the damper cannot come loose and there is no variation in the point of impact.
The QD55 maintains the properties of the brake, reduces dust/muzzle blast and provides exceptionally good sound suppression – very short recoil absorption and minimal muzzle flip.
The QD55 is a further development of the popular TE-Titan QD, with improvements that give you very good damping, increased strength and reduced weight. Designed to fit perfectly over the Vanward Pro-Brake, a further developed version of Salamander Tactical's Fafnir, which is known for its very good recoil absorption. This combination provides a perfect experience for PRS shooters, competition shooters and anyone who wants a powerful brake with the possibility of using a silencer.
The silencer is extremely durable, made of 3D-printed Titanium Grade 5, manufactured in Norway. Titanium's unique properties make it resistant to corrosion, gunpowder gases, heat and mechanical stress, ensuring many years of use with minimal maintenance. Due to the properties of titanium, strength and safety are maintained, even with long firing series. QD55 is a very robust solution that can withstand the toughest use.

The damper is mounted above the Vanward Pro-Brake.

* Although our silencers require minimal maintenance, it is still very important that the rifle is not stored with the silencer installed. The silencer must be removed immediately after use as corrosive gases are formed from the gunpowder residue. This can damage other metals and alloys.

QD55 har jeg brukt en stund nå og den imponerer! Det at jeg kan bytte mellom rekylbrems og demper uten verktøy er helt genialt – spesielt når det skal gå kjapt i felt. Monteringen går raskt, og treffpunktendringen mellom brems og demper er minimal. Jeg har brukt den i .308, 6,5 PRC og .338 Lapua Magnum, og dempingen er rett og slett ekstremt bra– både på lyd og rekyl. Helt super for langholdskyting/ELR- der man er helt avhengig av å se hvor man treffer, for å følge opp med nytt skudd.
